April’s Pink Moon set up
April 2020, traveling to the east side of the Cascades in search of the Super Pink Moon rising and setting involves staying up late and getting up super early! The moonrise was absolutely spectacular as it seemed to rise out of the haze hovering over the hillside and straight up into the air with a lovely pinkish hue captured by the lenses. The next morning (getting up around 4am), I found the moon setting over an empty house and field of cattle, setting up in front of the door of the house, I watched the moon disappear in the distance right through the front door!
